RS-232직렬 통신에서 "SOS"를 보낼때 비트열을 보내는 순서대로 전체 비트의 모양을 적어보면 다음과 같습니다.0 1 1 0 0 1 0 1 0 0 1 0 1 1 1 1 0 0 1 0 1 1 0 1 1 0 0 1 0 1 0 0 1 즉 SOS를 전송하기 위해 전체 33개의 비트 열이 전송됩니다. 짝수 패리티로 전송할 경우 이것을 각 문자가 보내지는 비트 그룹별로 분리해보면 다음처럼 됩니다. 'S'=01100101001 'O'=01111001011...
